Insurance Broker Awards – CEO, Managing Director, Lisa Carter
Lisa is a multi-award-winning risk and insurance adviser who works closely with business owners to support business growth. She uses over 25 years of general insurance expertise to help business owners understand risk and develop the most appropriate insurance program for their business needs.
Lisa held a 3-year appointment as a QLD representative for the Small Business Finance Advisory Panel and shares her insights through the business liaison program for the Reserve Bank of Australia. She is the appointed risk and insurance industry expert for Queensland Leaders and Gold Coast Leaders. She is a confident presenter, industry awards judge and mentor for the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA). In 2025, Lisa was an Awards Judge for the Telstra Best of Business Awards. She was the first female to win the NIBA Stephen Ball Memorial Broker of the Year Award in 2019 and once again she features in the Elite Women in Insurance and Elite Broker lists for 2025. In 2026, Lisa won Insurance Business Australia’s CEO of the Year 2026 award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the industry and beyond.
